Event PhotoThe chapter's Community Affairs committee, chaired by Zoe Freeman, recently volunteered at the annual Vogel Alcove picnic at Old City Park, helping with set-up and logistics and, most importantly, providing games and activities for the kids. Vogel Alcove helps families with young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness.

In May, Community Affairs assisted StreetSide Showers, an organization that provides mobile hot showers and personal hygiene care for the homeless community at locations throughout the Metroplex.
