Drive Helps Area Kids Gear Up for School

The Community Affairs Committee’s July Back-to-School Drive donated $400 worth of supplies and clothing for students in Collin, Dallas and Tarrant counties.

Committee Chairman Luke Hollingsworth and member Tot Chintharasy coordinated the drive with three non-profit organizations—All Community Outreach, Trusted World and Tarrant County Community. Thirty IFMA DFW members participated in the drive, purchasing items from the organizations’ wish lists:

• Washable Markers
• Backpacks
• 2" Three-Ring Binders
• Construction Paper
• Expo Markers
• Notebook Paper
• Spiral Notebooks
• Boxed Tissues
• Hoodies
• Tennis Shoes
• Jeans
• Socks

Members could purchase and drop off supplies themselves or use a convenient Amazon page with receiving and delivery coordinated by committee members.
