With the pandemic and subsequent economic downturn, those who are responsible for the operational, preventive, and deferred maintenance needs of facilities are being faced with significantly reduced budgets, staffing reductions, resource limitations, and uncertainty while continuing to ensure our buildings are not negatively impacted long term.

The IFMA Dallas/Fort Worth Program Committee has developed a series of four programs focused on concepts, solutions, and results for achieving a balance between time, money, and obligations as we safeguard our facilities portfolios during a challenging year ahead.

Steve also leads the UNT System’s staff of architects, planners, interior designers, and other construction and administrative professionals. Working closely with the UNTS administration, faculty, staff, and students, the UNT System’s Office of Strategic Infrastructure Planning and Construction implements the highest standards in design, mainly focusing on high-performance, efficient, and sustainable facilities. Steve joined the UNT System after spending 23 years at Penn State in various capacities, serving in leadership roles for virtually all aspects of Facilities Management at PSU – serving not only Penn State’s largest campus (45,000+ students), but also its 24 other campus and research locations (30,000+ students).
